    The UNI-T UT261A is a compact and rugged Phase Sequence Indicator designed for industrial electricians and motor installation technicians. Its primary function is to verify the correct phase rotation (Clockwise or Counter-Clockwise) of 3-phase systems before connecting motors or generators, preventing costly damage caused by reverse rotation.

    Unlike older LED-only testers, the UT261A features a clear LCD Display that graphically shows the rotation direction and instantly alerts the user if any phase (L1, L2, or L3) is missing. A significant advantage of the UT261A is its Battery-Free Operation; it draws power directly from the 3-phase supply (40V~690V), ensuring the device is always ready to work without the worry of dead batteries. With heavy-duty alligator clips and a durable housing, it is an essential safety tool for any 3-phase environment.
