The Megger MIT1015 is a 10 kV digital insulation resistance tester and megohmmeter designed for testing high-voltage electrical apparatus such as cables, switchgear, motors, generators and transformers. With selectable test voltages up to 10 kV, resistance measurement to 20 TΩ and built-in capacitance and leakage-current functions, it gives test engineers a powerful, portable instrument for diagnostic insulation testing.

• Selectable test voltages — 500 V, 1000 V, 2500 V, 5000 V and 10 kV, plus user-defined 40 V–1 kV in 10 V steps.
• Very wide resistance range — measures 10 kΩ up to 20 TΩ at 10 kV.
• High accuracy — ±5% up to 1 TΩ (5 kV) or 2 TΩ (10 kV).
• Diagnostic functions — capacitance (10 nF–25 µF) and leakage-current measurement (0.01 nA–6 mA) for insulation analysis.
• Strong interference rejection — 3 mA rejection from 450 V to 5 kV for stable results on live-site testing.
• Built-in voltmeter — 30–660 V AC/DC measurement.
• Mains or battery — 10.8 V Li-ion rechargeable (~4.5 h at 10 kV/100 MΩ) with 90–264 V AC operation.
