Megger S1-1068 10 kV Diagnostic Insulation Tester

Overview

The Megger S1-1068 is a diagnostic insulation resistance tester delivering test voltages up to 10 kV. Built for high-voltage assets – rotating machines, cables, transformers, bushings and switchgear – it measures insulation resistance up to 35 TΩ and provides the full range of diagnostic tests needed to assess and trend insulation condition.

As well as timed IR, it performs polarisation index (PI), dielectric absorption ratio (DAR), dielectric discharge (DD), stepped voltage (SV) and ramp tests. Strong noise immunity and a guard terminal keep readings reliable in noisy substations, while on-board logging, USB and Bluetooth to PowerDB, dual Li-ion batteries and a CAT IV 1000 V rating make it a safe, capable HV diagnostic tool. (The S1-568 and S1-1568 offer the same features at 5 kV and 15 kV.)
