Overview
The Megger PVK330 is a photovoltaic test kit designed for commissioning and checking solar PV installations. It combines the pocket-sized PVM210 irradiance meter with a DC clamp multimeter and a set of specialist PV test leads, so an installer can measure the key parameters of an array – irradiance, DC current, voltage, open-circuit voltage and short-circuit current – quickly and safely on site.
The main difference from the PVK320 is the inclusion of a DC clamp meter, which allows the operating current of a string to be measured non-intrusively without breaking connections. Combined with the PVM210’s irradiance reading (to 1999 W/m²) and specialist MC4 leads, this makes the PVK330 a practical, complete kit for verifying PV performance during installation and maintenance.
