Megger BITE2P Battery Impedance Tester

The Megger BITE2P is an advanced battery impedance testing device with a built-in thermal printer, designed to evaluate the condition of lead-acid and nickel-cadmium cells up to 7000 Ah. It is ideal for maintaining and monitoring backup battery systems in telecommunications, power utilities and other critical industries, delivering detailed diagnostics and printed results on the spot. Like the BITE2, it offers Pass/Warning/Fail assessment against a user-set baseline, so weak cells and connections are easy to identify, and it tests on-line without discharging the battery.

Key features of the Megger BITE2P impedance tester

Built-in thermal printer – print battery test results directly in the field, without a PC.
Cell impedance to 100 mΩ – cell impedance (to 1 µΩ resolution), DC voltage and interconnecting strap resistance.
Pass/Warning/Fail – baseline-referenced assessment highlights weak cells and straps.
On-line testing – capacitively-coupled 10 A AC signal; test in service up to 275 V DC without discharge.
Large data storage – more than 2000 data sets across up to 300 tests, with RS-232 download to PowerDB LITE.
Flexible current sensors – standard 50 mm clamp, with optional 12 mm mini CT and 150 mm RopeCT.
