Kyoritsu KEW 6315-00 Power Quality Analyzer (Bluetooth)

Overview

The Kyoritsu KEW 6315-00 is a portable power quality analyzer for engineers who need to measure both power consumption and power quality at the same time. It captures a complete picture of an electrical supply — not just how much power is used, but disturbances such as harmonics, voltage swells and dips, transients, inrush current, unbalance and flicker — making it ideal for investigating power-quality problems, verifying supply quality and assessing loads in commercial and industrial installations. The “-00” is the base analyzer unit (clamp sensors are ordered separately).

The KEW 6315 measures voltage, current, frequency, active/reactive/apparent power and energy, power factor, neutral current, demand, harmonics and a full set of power-quality events, plus flicker and the capacitance needed for power-factor correction. It supports 1P2W, 1P3W, 3P3W and 3P4W wiring, voltage ranges to 1000 V, and currents from 10 A to 3000 A using the appropriate clamp sensor. Results appear on a 3.5-inch colour TFT display and are logged to internal memory and a 2 GB SD card, with USB and Bluetooth 5.0 for transfer and remote monitoring via Android/iOS apps. It carries a high CAT IV 300 V / CAT III 600 V / CAT II 1000 V rating.
