Overview

The Kyoritsu KEW 5711 is a compact non-contact voltage detector that senses AC voltage through insulation, so live conductors can be identified without touching bare metal. On detection, a buzzer sounds, the tip glows and an LED lights, giving clear audible and visual warning. Dual Hi/Lo sensitivity lets it work reliably from 20 V up to 1000 V, and a built-in powerful flashlight illuminates the work area. It is ready to use without powering on, and its CAT IV 600 V / CAT III 1000 V rating makes it safe for demanding electrical environments.
