The SBS-3500 uses oscillating U-tube technology to quickly determine the specific gravity and temperature of lead-acid or nickel-cadmium (NiCd) batteries. The unit has a wide reading range, capable of taking readings ranging from 0.0000 to 3.0000. Testing findings can be uploaded into an easy-to-read report thanks to the ability to communicate wirelessly to a printer or computer via the integrated IrDA interface.
