Kyoritsu KEW 8602 EVSE Adapter (Type 2)

Overview

The Kyoritsu KEW 8602 is a specialised EVSE adapter designed for installation inspections, maintenance and troubleshooting of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE). This compact adapter is particularly suited to comprehensive testing of Mode 3 AC EVSE, allowing a range of tests under different simulations: CP (control pilot) state simulation (A, B, C, D), PP (proximity pilot) state simulation (OPEN, 13 A, 20 A, 32 A, 63 A), and CP-error and PE-error simulation. It is fitted with a plug conforming to IEC 62196-2 Type 2 and handles a maximum rated voltage of 250 V AC for single-phase connections and 430 V AC for three-phase, making it a versatile tool for EV-charger commissioning and fault-finding, and it pairs with Kyoritsu multifunction testers such as the KEW 6516/6516BT.
