Megger MTO106 Transformer Ohmmeter

Overview

The Megger MTO106 is a portable transformer ohmmeter built for measuring the DC winding resistance of small transmission and distribution transformers. It drives a stable test current of up to 6 A through the winding and reads resistance from 10 µΩ up to 30 kΩ with ±0.25% accuracy, making it well suited to routine testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of tap changers and windings.

Two independent channels let the primary and secondary windings be measured at the same time, cutting test time and reducing the risk of errors. Fast transformer saturation, automatic passive discharge for operator safety and a rugged IP67-rated case (when closed) make the MTO106 a practical field instrument for utilities, service workshops and industrial substations.
