Amprobe SM 10
The Amprobe SM-10-A Sound Meter is specifically designed for evaluating compliance with safety standards and conducting acoustic assessments by safety engineers, health and industrial professionals, and quality control teams. It employs two weighting filters, in line with IEC651 and ANSI S1.4 Type 2 requirements for audio filtering. The A-weighting filter is used for measuring general noise levels, while the C-weighting filter is designed to assess sound levels for acoustic material control in different settings, such as 94 dB at 1 kHz.
One of the key features of the Amprobe SM-10 is its ability to measure sound using two different weighting filters: A-weighting and C-weighting. The A-weighting filter is designed to mimic the response of the human ear, making it ideal for assessing general noise levels in areas where people are present. The C-weighting filter, on the other hand, is used for evaluating the sound level of acoustic material and industrial noise in various environments, making it perfect for more specific sound analysis, such as at 94 dB at 1 kHz.
