DRAMINSKI GMDM - a grain moisture and density meter

DRAMINSKI GMDM Grain Moisture and Density Meter Overview & Core Specs

The DRAMINSKI GMDM (EAN: 5906874410219) is a specialized, laboratory-grade grain moisture meter engineered for commercial settlements, grain elevators, and agricultural processing across the UAE and GCC. Built by Draminski in Poland, the GMDM integrates dielectric capacitive measurement with an internal precision balance to eliminate sample compaction errors. Supplied by MME as a trusted T&M equipment provider in Dubai, every unit arrives fully verified with original factory calibration.

DRAMINSKI Moisture Meter Key Features: Built-in Scale & Bulk Density (kg/hl)

Unlike standard portable hygrometers that rely solely on volume estimation, this advanced grain moisture and density meter utilizes a true weight-volume measurement principle for Class 2 metrological precision:

• Simultaneous Moisture & Bulk Density: Directly reads moisture percentage (0.1% resolution) and hectolitre weight / test weight in kg/hl in a single cycle.
• Internal Precision Balance: Built-in electronic balance accounts for kernel size distribution and grain variety differences, maintaining average accuracy under ±0.5% for normalized grain.
• Automatic Temperature Compensation: Internal sensor inside the 210 ml chamber compensates dynamically between 10°C and 35°C for extreme ambient GCC climates.
• Calibrated for Critical Grains: Pre-programmed curves for wheat, quality wheat, barley, rye, triticale, oats, corn/maize (up to 24%), and rapeseed (4.0%–20.0%).

Commercial Grain Trading & Silo Quality Control Applications

The DRAMINSKI GMDM is engineered specifically to eliminate financial losses and quality disputes at grain intake terminals. It is mainly designed for:

• Grain Trading & Export Companies: Ensures verified commercial settlements with type-approved metrological accuracy.
• Cereal & Rapeseed Producers: Delivers instant harvest verification to avoid port-dock penalties.
• Silo & Port Elevator Management: Monitors moisture levels prior to long-term storage to prevent biological heating, germination, and aflatoxin contamination.
• Flour & Animal Feed Manufacturers: Provides exact bulk density (apparent density) metrics essential for recipe formulation and milling yield.

A high class of measurement accuracy was confirmed by type approval issued by the Central Office of Measures. Hundreds of comparative studies with laboratory methods at the Institute of Agricultural and Food Biotechnology in Warsaw verify that the GMDM is adjusted to obtain authorized calibration certificates for grain trade billing.
