Testo 606-2 Overview

The Testo 606-2 reads moisture in wood and building materials through two pin electrodes and also measures the room air: humidity, temperature, dew point and wet bulb. Beyond the capabilities of the testo 606-1 moisture meter, the testo 606-2 also measures relative humidity and air temperature, and calculates dew point and wet bulb temperature, giving a fuller picture of both the material and its surrounding climate.

This makes the 606-2 ideal for detecting moisture and wet places in building materials such as cement screed, concrete, plaster, anhydrite screed, cement mortar, limestone mortar and brickwork, while also flagging conditions where condensation is likely. A hold function and backlit display make readings quick and easy in any lighting.

Who the Testo 606-2 is for

The Testo 606-2 is for flooring and screed installers, building surveyors, damp and restoration specialists, joiners and timber yards that want one pocket meter for the material and the air around it. In a single check it shows how wet the substrate or timber is and what the room air is doing, which helps when judging drying conditions or condensation risk.
