FLIR-E4 Infrared Camera with MSX®
The FLIR-E4 thermal imaging camera is an easy-to-use troubleshooting tool for building, electrical, and mechanical applications. Find hidden problems, take accurate temperature readings, and confirm repairs were done correctly with the help of the 4,800 (80 x 60) pixel infrared resolution and FLIR Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX®) enhancements.
The camera has a temperature measurement range of -20°C to 250°C (-4°F to 482°F) and a thermal sensitivity of 0.15°C (0.27°F), suitable for detecting small changes in temperature. It also includes multiple measurement modes, such as center point, area, and isotherm, making it easy for users to identify hot and cold spots as well as potential problem areas.

Frequency Asked Questions
Why are FLIR cameras so expensive?
Glass is not clear in the wavelength range used by thermal imaging infrared sensors. Therefore, a unique and different material is needed for the lenses. Most thermal lenses are made of germanium. Germanium is the only metal that costs nearly $1,500/kg in its raw state.
