The Fluke 773 milliamp clamp meter is a precise, functional, and lightweight instrument. By measuring 4-20 mA signals five times faster than with conventional multimeters and without interrupting the loop, it saves time and money. As a result, you may fix a live device without having to shut it down and risk missing something that is happening.

The 773 is ideal for troubleshooting generators, valves, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) found in process plants. The 773 allows you to connect to a mA loop in a traditional serial workflow to measure, source, or simulate a control system. It measures up to 99.0 mA contactless, including 10 to 50 mA signals in older control systems.

The Fluke 773 also sources and measures DC voltage, so it can be used to troubleshoot voltage input and output devices that accept a 1-5 V or 0 to 10 V signal. You can detach the clamp section of the meter and use it as a remote jaw, connected to the main body by an extension cable to make it easier to take measurements in tight spaces.
