Overview
The Hioki PQ3198 is a high-performance power quality analyzer that monitors and records power-supply anomalies so their causes can be rapidly explored, and assesses problems such as voltage drops, flicker and harmonics. It measures single- to three-phase (2-, 3- and 4-wire) systems plus an extra AC/DC input channel, with voltage measurement to 600 V rms, 6 kV transient capture and current up to 5 kA using clamp sensors. New features include the ability to drive current sensors directly from the analyzer and improved recording, making the PQ3198 an advanced tool for professional power-quality analysis.
