Kyoritsu KEW 2056R True-RMS AC/DC Digital Clamp Meter

Overview

The Kyoritsu KEW 2056R is a full-function true-RMS AC/DC digital clamp meter aimed at power distribution companies, utilities and maintenance teams. Its 40 mm jaw reads both AC and DC current up to 1000 A without breaking the circuit, and a high CAT IV 600 V rating together with a built-in non-contact voltage detector make it a safe, versatile instrument for demanding electrical work. Double-moulded housing gives a comfortable, secure grip in the hand.

Beyond current, the KEW 2056R measures AC and DC voltage up to 600 V, resistance up to 60 MΩ, capacitance up to 40 µF, frequency up to 10 kHz and temperature from −50 to +300 °C with an optional probe. A large 6039-count display with bargraph, true-RMS conversion, data hold and a red-LED non-contact voltage warning make everyday measurements fast and safe. It runs from two AAA batteries in a 310 g body.
