product overview Lambrecht 15189 Precipitation sensor Joss-Tognini

This all-metal Tipping Bucket Precipitation Sensor Lambrecht 15189 is the “best in class” since it was developed using experience and comes with the features and advantages of its tested predecessors. Its functionality is carefully planned to satisfy the requirements of traditional hydrology and meteorology as well as semi-pro industrial meteorology. The Precipitation Sensor 15189, in all of its various forms, is a very affordable purchase.

function Lambrecht 15189 Precipitation sensor Joss-Tognini

This sensor’s functioning is fairly straightforward. When it begins to rain, the pressure created by the raindrops on the sensor’s surface changes the pressure inside the sensor. In other words, rain causes the sensor’s pressure to increase. Following the interpretation of these pressure changes by an electronic circuit, an electrical signal indicating the level of precipitation is provided to the control system.

Numerous systems, such as autonomous irrigation systems, vehicle safety systems, traffic information systems, etc., can employ this sensor. This sensor is often made to survive tough weather and may be utilized in settings with a lot of rain and dust.
