Megger CFL510G Handheld Time Domain Reflectometer
The Megger CFL510G Handheld Time Domain Reflectometer (TDR) is a device used primarily for locating faults in cables and measuring the length of both metallic and fiber optic cables. This TDR model is known for its portability and ease of use, making it a valuable tool for technicians in telecommunications, utilities, and network services.
The CFL510G handheld time domain reflectometer is equipped for use with twisted pair copper and coaxial cables. It offers a fine resolution of 0.1 meters or 0.3 feet and can handle cable lengths up to 5 kilometers or 15,000 feet, depending on the cable type and the velocity factor selected. The device provides four different output impedances (25, 50, 75, and 100 ohms) to accommodate various cable testing needs. With a velocity factor adjustable between 0.2 and 0.99, it can be tailored to specific cable testing requirements.
