Megger LRCD210 Loop & RCD Tester — Full RCD & Loop Testing
The Megger LRCD210 is a compact combined loop impedance and RCD tester that adds ½×I and 5×I trip tests plus ramp testing to the LRCD200 platform, making it UK Part P compliant. It delivers no-trip loop testing and complete RCD verification to EN 61557 in a single rugged handheld instrument for residential, commercial and light-industrial work.
Key Features
- Combined loop & RCD testing — measures loop impedance from 0.01 Ω to 2 kΩ and tests RCDs in one instrument, to EN 61557 parts 1, 3 and 6.
- No-trip loop testing — a nominal 15 mA, 3-wire test current measures loop impedance on RCD-protected circuits without nuisance tripping.
- Full RCD test suite — ½×I no-trip, 1×I and 5×I trip tests plus a 20–110% ramp test on 10, 30, 100, 300 and 500 mA RCDs.
- AC, A and S type RCDs — selectable RCD type with 0°/180° phase testing for complete device verification.
- UK Part P compliant — suitable for UK wiring-regulation testing as well as international use.
- Accurate trip-time measurement — ±1% ±1 ms trip-time accuracy with a selectable 25 V or 50 V touch-voltage limit.
- Voltage measurement — built-in 0–500 V measurement for quick supply checks.
- CAT III 300 V safety — rated to IEC 61010-1 CAT III 300 V (phase to earth) in an IP54 sealed case for site use.
- Long battery life — up to 2000 consecutive tests from 8 × AA cells; 203 × 148 × 78 mm, 980 g.
