Based on the Leeb hardness measuring concept, the Mitech MH310 portable Leeb hardness tester provides rapid and simple on-site testing of a variety of metal materials and supports free conversion between the Leeb, Brinell, Rockwell, and other hardness scales.It employs a segment LCD with excellent contrast to provide crisp, reliable performance.Mitech MH310 is frequently used in annealing, tempering, quenching, quality control for the work piece, hardness testing for automobile chassis and machine tools, on-site hardness testing of in-service non-removable parts, quality testing for hardware, forging, machine tools, and special steels, and so on.Good quality and cost-effectiveness make Mitech MH310 a smart choice for hardness testing that is required frequently.

Working Principle

The impact body’s impact and rebound velocities are used to determine the energy quotient, which is expressed in the hardness unit HL. Because it bounces back from harder samples more quickly than from softer ones, the energy quotient, which is defined as 1000Vr/Vi, is higher.    HL=1000×Vr/ Vi
