The PCE T 260 Condition Monitoring Tachometer is a multipurpose instrument that gauges the temperature, vibration, and rotational speed of diverse equipment, including fans, pumps, motors, and compressors.

It is intended for rotating machinery and equipment condition monitoring and preventive maintenance.

Three measurement modalities are available on the PCE T 260 Condition Monitoring Tachometer: tachometer, vibration meter, and infrared thermometer. When in tachometer mode, a rotating object is seen using an optical sensor to measure its speed in revolutions per minute (RPM) or frequency in hertz (Hz).

The device uses an accelerometer in vibration meter mode to measure the acceleration, velocity, and displacement of the vibrating object along three axes. The device’s infrared sensor monitors the object’s surface temperature in degrees Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F) when it is in infrared thermometer mode.

The color LCD display of the PCE T 260 Condition Monitoring Tachometer shows the current, average, maximum, and minimum measurements of the parameters being measured.

Additionally, it features a memory feature with room for up to 1000 data sets with time and date stamps. By using a USB cable, the data can be transferred to a PC for analysis using the included software. You can use the software to make graphs, tables, and reports using the measured data.
