Overview

The Kyoritsu KEW 2033 is an exceptionally compact true-RMS clamp meter and one of the smallest instruments capable of measuring both AC and DC current. Weighing only about 100 g with a slim 24 mm jaw, it is easy to carry and use in tight spaces, yet it combines clamp current measurement with a full set of multimeter functions — making it a versatile pocket tool for electricians and technicians who need AC and DC readings on the go.

The KEW 2033 measures AC and DC current on 40 A and 300 A ranges with 0.01 A resolution, and also handles AC/DC voltage, resistance, continuity and diode testing. True-RMS conversion ensures accurate readings on distorted waveforms, with a frequency response covering DC and 20 Hz to 1 kHz. A data-hold function, a CAT III 300 V safety rating and two LR44 button cells round out a practical, dependable instrument.
