Megger MVC1010 Voltage Clamp

Overview

The Megger MVC1010 is a clip-on AC current clamp that produces a proportional voltage output, making it easy to feed accurate current measurements into meters, relays and test instruments. For every ampere of primary current it delivers 1 mV across a 1 Ω burden, giving a clean 1000:1 representation of currents up to 1000 A.

Its large 52 mm jaw accepts busbars and heavy cables, while the CAT IV 600 V rating allows safe use at the origin of an installation. A wide 15 Hz to 10 kHz bandwidth and low phase shift make the MVC1010 well suited to relay and protection testing, power-quality surveys and general current measurement. Paired with the current-output MCC1010, it also supports non-contact resistance measurement.
