Kyoritsu KEW 2002PA 2000 A AC Digital Clamp Meter

Overview

The Kyoritsu KEW 2002PA is a true-RMS AC digital clamp meter designed for measuring large AC currents in industrial and commercial installations. Its wide 55 mm jaw clamps around busbars and heavy cables to read currents up to 2000 A without breaking the circuit, making it well suited to switchboards, distribution panels, motors and other high-current equipment where current has to be measured quickly and safely.

Beyond current, the KEW 2002PA measures AC voltage up to 750 V and DC voltage up to 1000 V, resistance up to 400 kΩ and continuity, with true-RMS conversion for accurate readings on distorted waveforms across a 40 Hz to 1 kHz range. Peak-hold captures inrush and maximum values while data-hold freezes a reading for noting down. Rated to CAT III 600 V / CAT II 1000 V and powered by two AA batteries, it is a robust everyday tool for high-current work.
