Overview

The Hioki PQ3198-94 is a complete power quality analyzer kit built around the flagship PQ3198, supplied with four flexible 6000 A current sensors. Compliant with the strict IEC 61000-4-30 Ed. 3 Class A standard, it detects power-supply anomalies with the highest reliability. The 180 mm-diameter flexible sensor loops wrap easily around thick cables and busbars in crowded cabinets where rigid clamps cannot fit. Sampling voltage at 2 MHz, the PQ3198 captures transient overvoltages as fast as 0.5 µs (up to 6000 V peak), and its isolated voltage channels let you measure two circuits simultaneously — ideal for EV-charger primary and secondary measurement.
