SKF TKBA 20 Belt Alignment Tool

Overview

The SKF TKBA 20 belt alignment tool enables belt pulleys and gears to be aligned on the lateral surface. It attaches magnetically to the inside or outside of almost any pulley or gear and has no small parts or targets to lose. A laser line is projected from the transmitter unit to the reflector unit installed on the opposing pulley, clearly indicating offset and vertical angle misalignment via a reference line, while horizontal angle misalignment shows in the reflected laser line displayed on the transmitter.

Easy to use and operable by one person, the TKBA 20 has a magnetic base that leaves the user’s hands free to adjust alignment. It can be used on pulleys or disks of any size and suits industries including mining, oil and gas, and manufacturing. Its highly visible green laser is usable at distances up to 6 m, making routine maintenance checks quick to complete and misalignments swift to fix — cutting downtime and maintenance costs.
