Megger DLRO2-2 A LOW RESISTANCE OHMMETER
The Megger DLRO2 2 A Low Resistance Ohmmeter is an advanced, handheld instrument, renowned for delivering fast, precise, and repeatable measurements, especially in electrically noisy environments. As a part of the esteemed Ducter™ line, which has long been synonymous with reliability much like Megger’s insulation resistance testers, the DLRO2 continues this tradition of trusted performance.
Equipped with a novel ‘difference’ meter, the DLRO2 makes it simpler than ever to compare consecutive low resistance measurements against a reference value, enhancing the efficiency of testing routines. This feature displays the percentage difference via a needle/pointer movement, offering clear, intuitive feedback that is easy to interpret on the fly.
Designed to handle the demands of extensive industrial applications—ranging from railway systems and aircraft to industrial components—the DLRO2 excels in various settings. It is particularly suited for outdoor operations, boasting IP54 protection against dust and moisture, ensuring durability and operational integrity in harsh weather conditions.
Safety is paramount with the DLRO2, which is rated at CAT III 600 V and CAT IV 300 V. It features a robust active protection system that safeguards against inadvertent live connections of up to 600 volts, all without the risk of blowing a fuse. This safety mechanism is critical when testing resistance of inductive loads at 1 A, which the DLRO2 handles seamlessly.
For scenarios requiring extended reach, such as in wind turbines or avionic lightning protection systems, the DLRO2 supports the use of long leads at 1 A without a drop in test speed or safety. Its specialized long lead test function optimizes output for up to 4 ohms resistance with optional cable reel test leads, proving that distance need not compromise efficiency or results.
