The Kyoritsu KEW 3125A is a 5 kV digital high-voltage insulation tester measuring insulation resistance up to 1 TΩ across five test voltages (250, 500, 1000, 2500 and 5000 V). A large backlit display shows output and discharge voltage, and it supports PI and DAR diagnostics, a noise filter, AC/DC voltage measurement and an active voltage warning — ideal for testing motors, transformers and cables.

Description

Overview

The Kyoritsu KEW 3125A is a digital high-voltage insulation tester that measures insulation resistance down to 1 TΩ across five selectable test voltages up to 5 kV — 250 V, 500 V, 1000 V, 2500 V and 5000 V. A large backlit display shows both the output voltage during testing and the discharge voltage afterwards, and a filter function reduces noise interference for stable readings. It performs polarization index (PI) and dielectric absorption ratio (DAR) diagnostics, measures AC and DC voltage between 30 and 600 V, and includes an active voltage warning and auto shut-off for safety and battery conservation.
