Overview
The Megger MTDR300 is a rugged, portable three-phase time domain reflectometer designed for rapid cable fault location on power distribution and communication cables. Its three independent TDR channels allow all three phases of a circuit to be captured and compared side by side, so intermittent and hard-to-find faults stand out immediately against the healthy phases.
Built around a large 10.4-inch full-XGA colour display, the MTDR300 supports classic pulse-echo testing for low-voltage faults as well as arc-reflection, impulse-current and voltage-decay methods for prelocating high-voltage faults. Battery operation, a wide operating-temperature range and a portable case make it equally suited to the field and the substation.
