Overview

The Megger MTB7671/2 Instrument Test Box is a bench-top reference unit that lets electricians and test engineers confirm their installation testers are still reading accurately between formal calibrations. By presenting a set of precisely defined resistance, impedance and trip-current values, it provides a fast, repeatable check across continuity, insulation resistance, loop impedance and RCD functions on a single unit.

Regular verification of test instruments is a requirement of quality schemes such as NICEIC, ELECSA and equivalent bodies. The MTB7671/2 makes that routine practical: connect the tester, take a reading against a known value, and record the result. Housed in a rugged case and powered from a standard 230 V supply, it is well suited to workshops, calibration benches and larger contracting operations that need to keep a fleet of multifunction testers in check.

• RCD verification at 10 mA, 30 mA and 100 mA with ½I, I and 5I tests at 0° and 180°
• 230 V output terminals for a quick voltage-range check
• Compact, rugged case; mains powered at 230 V 50 Hz
