Overview

The Megger SVERKER 750 is a compact, rugged single-phase relay test set that has become a field standard for protection engineers. Weighing only 18 kg, it delivers up to 250 A of test current and 120 V AC output, along with a built-in variable phase-shift voltage source, so it can test virtually all types of protective relays – overcurrent, earth-fault, differential, distance and automatic reclosing devices.

Its integrated timer, ammeter, voltmeter and phase-angle/cosφ measurement capture the key results directly, and the variable voltage source makes directional testing straightforward without extra equipment. Auxiliary DC output powers the relay under test, and two SVERKER units can be synchronised to form a basic three-phase system. Simple controls and a portable case make it a dependable everyday tool for field and workshop relay testing.
