Overview
The Hioki FT3151 is an analog earth tester that measures earthing resistance using the AC potentiometer (phase-differential) method, ensuring accurate measurements that are unaffected by earth voltage and auxiliary earthing resistance. It supports both three-electrode and two-electrode (simple) methods and covers a wide 0 to 1150 Ω range in line with EN standards. A switchable measurement frequency reduces the effects of power-supply harmonics, and innovative cord winders and improved grounding rods make setup and clean-up fast, keeping the FT3151 compact, rugged and ready for field use.
