Overview
The Kyoritsu KEW 2007R is a slim, lightweight true-RMS AC digital clamp meter for measuring current in live conductors without disconnecting them. Its fully insulated safety jaw opens to 33 mm and reads AC current up to 1000 A with auto-ranging, making it a convenient everyday tool for troubleshooting and maintenance across industrial, commercial and residential electrical systems.
As well as current, the KEW 2007R measures AC and DC voltage up to 600 V, resistance up to 6 kΩ and continuity, with true-RMS conversion for accurate readings on distorted waveforms over a 40 to 400 Hz range. A data-hold function, auto power-off and a rugged CAT IV 300 V / CAT III 600 V safety rating make it practical and safe, while two AAA batteries give around 170 hours of operation. At just 220 g it is easy to carry all day.
