Overview

The Met One 034E is a combined wind speed and direction sensor that measures both parameters in a single compact sensing unit. Designed for fast installation and long-term reliability, it delivers accurate, continuous monitoring even in hostile outdoor environments, making it a proven choice for meteorological stations, air-quality networks and industrial site monitoring.

Built from durable aluminium and stainless steel with a clear-anodised finish, the 034E withstands demanding field conditions and operates from -30 to +70 °C. It measures wind speed up to 75 m/s and wind direction over a full 360°, providing pulsed contact-closure output for speed and potentiometer output for direction.
