MET ONE C-12 Portable Carbon Monitor

Overview

The Met One C-12 is a self-contained portable carbon monitor that measures black carbon by optical attenuation across filter media, eliminating the need for an expensive environmental shelter. It sets up in minutes virtually anywhere, making it ideal for near-road, community and remote black carbon monitoring.

The C-12 uses 880 nm illumination as standard, with an optional 880/370 nm dual-wavelength configuration for black-carbon and brown-carbon source apportionment. Drawing 1 lpm with sub-70 ng/m³ sensitivity, it includes a built-in Comet Cloud cellular modem for automatic 4G/GSM data reporting and can run from mains power or an optional solar panel.
