Overview

The Kyoritsu KEW 2200 is an ultra-slim, lightweight AC digital clamp meter designed for portability and easy one-hand use. At just 20 mm thick and around 120 g it slips into a pocket or tool pouch, yet its teardrop-shaped 33 mm jaw reads AC current up to 1000 A without disconnecting the circuit — making it a handy everyday tool for electricians, technicians and maintenance staff in industrial, commercial and residential settings.

Alongside current, the KEW 2200 measures AC and DC voltage up to 600 V, resistance up to 40 MΩ and continuity, all with auto-ranging for fast operation. A data-hold function freezes readings, and a CAT III 600 V safety rating keeps it suitable for most installation work. Two AAA batteries give around 350 hours of use, so it is ready whenever it is needed.
