Description

CEM DT-5554 RCD Tester

The CEM DT-5554 RCD Tester is a specialized tool designed for testing the operation of Residual Current Devices (RCDs), which are critical safety devices in electrical installations that protect against electric shock and fire hazards caused by earth faults. RCDs, also known as Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCIs) in some regions, automatically cut off the electrical supply when they detect a fault current to earth that exceeds a predetermined level.

Additionally, the DT-5554 may offer a robust design suited for field use, with features such as a clear, easy-to-read display and possibly data logging capabilities for recording test results. It might also include built-in safety features to protect the user and the device during testing.

CEM DT-5554 Key Features

Safe voltage measurement function
Large custom digital display readout on all models
Visual indication of reversed-phase and neutral wiring at the socket
