Megger LRCD220 Loop & RCD Tester — Full-Feature Loop & RCD Testing
The Megger LRCD220 is the most capable model in the LRCD range, adding fast 2-wire loop testing, 1000 mA RCD testing, automatic RCD test sequences, a backlit display and phase-rotation indication to the LRCD210 platform. It delivers complete loop impedance and RCD verification to EN 61557 in one rugged handheld instrument for demanding residential, commercial and industrial work.
Key Features
- Two loop test modes — 3-wire no-trip loop testing plus a fast 2-wire high-current test, measuring 0.01 Ω to 2 kΩ to EN 61557.
- Phase-to-phase measurement — loop testing up to 415 V phase-to-phase and 100–280 V operation (supports 110 V supplies).
- Full RCD test suite — ½×I, 1×I and 5×I tests plus 20–110% ramp on 10, 30, 100, 300, 500 and 1000 mA RCDs.
- AC, A and S type RCDs — selectable RCD type with 0°/180° phase selection.
- Automatic RCD testing — auto test sequence with result recall and a test-lock function for repeatable, hands-free testing.
- Backlit display & phase rotation — backlit LCD for low-light work and built-in phase-rotation indication.
- Accurate trip-time measurement — ±1% ±1 ms trip-time accuracy with a selectable 25 V or 50 V touch-voltage limit.
- CAT III 300 V safety — rated to IEC 61010-1 CAT III 300 V (phase to earth) in an IP54 sealed case.
- Long battery life — up to 2000 consecutive tests from 8 × AA cells; 203 × 148 × 78 mm, 980 g.
