Testo 0636 6160 Scatter Field Probe for Material Moisture

Overview

The Testo 0636 6160 Scatter Field Probe enables fast, damage-free material moisture measurement. Instead of drilling or coring, it uses an integrated contact plate to measure the water content of woods (up to about 50 %) and building materials (up to about 20 %) non-destructively in just 0.5 seconds. Expressed in weight percent of dry mass, the result lets you quickly assess drying progress and moisture problems without leaving a mark on the surface. The probe connects to a compatible testo instrument via a 1.2 m cable.
