Fluke 55XXA/LEADS Thermocouple & Test Lead Set

Description

Fluke 55XXA/LEADS Thermocouple and Test Lead Set Overview

The Fluke 55XXA/LEADS (P/N 5128204) is Fluke Calibration’s thermocouple and test lead set with case for multi-product calibrators. Fluke lists it for the Fluke 5560A multi-product calibrator, and the 5560A / 5550A / 5540A manual lists the set as standard equipment.

The set brings together the stackable, shielded and high-current test leads, J, K and Cu thermocouple extensions, thermocouple assemblies and adapters in one case. Calibration labs and service teams use it to keep a complete, matched lead set with each calibrator, or to replace worn leads.

Key Features

Complete set for voltage, current and thermocouple calibration work
Shielded calibration leads rated 1000 V max (calibration use)
Stackable and high-current leads rated 30 A max
Colour-coded J, K and Cu thermocouple extensions (3 ft)
K-type beaded and J thermocouple assemblies, Cu-Cu shorting plug and K to 4 mm banana adapter
Carrying case keeps the set together

Fluke 55XXA/LEADS FAQ

What is the Fluke 55XXA/LEADS?

It is Fluke Calibration’s thermocouple and test lead set with case (P/N 5128204) for multi-product calibrators. It holds the leads and thermocouple parts you need for voltage, current and thermocouple calibration.

Which calibrators is the 55XXA/LEADS for?

Fluke lists it for the 5560A. The 5560A / 5550A / 5540A calibrator manual lists the 55XXA/LEADS set as standard equipment, so it is also a spare or replacement set for those models.

What is included in the set?

Stackable test leads, shielded calibration test leads, high-current test leads, 3 ft J, K and Cu thermocouple extension wires, a K-type beaded thermocouple, a J thermocouple assembly, a Cu-Cu shorting plug, a K-type to 4 mm banana adapter and a carrying case.

What are the ratings of the leads?

Per the calibrator manual: stackable and high-current leads are rated 30 V AC / 60 V DC, 30 A max; shielded calibration leads are rated 1000 V max (calibration use only, non-contact), 1500 V pk transient, 3.2 A max.

Why do the thermocouple wires have different colours?

The colours identify the wire type: black connectors for J, yellow connectors for K and white for Cu (copper). Always match the extension wire to the thermocouple type you are calibrating.
