The Baker DX performs a comprehensive range of off-line electrical tests to evaluate the health of motor and coil windings, from insulation resistance, polarisation index and DC HiPot through to surge comparison and surge partial-discharge. An 8-inch colour touchscreen with a glove-friendly graphical interface makes it equally at home in the rewind shop, on the factory floor and in field service, catching turn-to-turn and ground-wall insulation problems long before they cause an outage.
