The MTR105 is a dedicated static motor tester with Megger’s proven and reliable Insulation Resistance (IR) tester, plus all the traditional features and reliability of a Megger tester. The MTR105 utilizes the testing capabilities of Megger’s proven infrared testers by adding DLRO four-wire Kelvin low resistance, inductance, and capacitance testing to provide a versatile motor tester. , all wrapped up in a rugged handset, something that has not been available so far.

In addition, the MTR105 incorporates temperature measurement and compensation (for infrared testing), motor rotation direction, and power phase rotation testing. These new test capabilities make the MTR105 a versatile, portable, real-world engine test tool. The MTR105 features a prefabricated outer shell, enhancing protection and ruggedness, achieving an IP54 weatherproof rating.
