Overview

The Megger MTR105 is a compact, handheld tester built specifically for maintaining and commissioning rotating machines such as motors and generators. It brings together the key electrical tests an engineer needs — insulation resistance, three-phase insulation, winding (DC) resistance, four-wire DLRO low-resistance, temperature and direction of rotation — in a single lightweight instrument that weighs under 1 kg.

With insulation test voltages up to 1 kV, an insulation range to 200 GΩ, and a full-colour graphic display with PI and DAR analysis, the MTR105 speeds up both production testing of new machines and off-line field maintenance. Battery operation, an IP54-rated case and multilingual menus make it a practical tool for utilities, industrial plants, OEMs and repair shops.
