Megger ESG NT2 Ground Fault Locator

The Megger ESG NT2 ground/earth fault locator is designed to precisely identify cable sheath faults. It features automatic calibration, ensuring the display remains at zero without requiring any adjustments. Additionally, it includes a noise suppression system that eliminates interference from DC currents, railway currents, industrial facilities, and environments with highly resistive soil.

Using two earth rods, you can measure the ground step voltage potential and determine the fault direction, as shown on the display. Its bright, sun-readable TFT color display makes it perfect for field use, with results clearly presented as a bar graph. The ESG NT2 also features a history mode that lets you review the deflections of the last seven pulses.
