Overview

The Megger Geolux GL 660-1 is a cable ground fault locator for ungrounded (IT) systems such as those used in railway installations, hospitals, power plants and other industrial facilities. These systems are monitored by earth-fault indicators to keep them running safely; when a fault is flagged, the GL 660-1 uses a low-frequency generator and a reader clamp to trace and pinpoint the faulty cable without interrupting supply.
