Megger MWA300 & MWA330A 3-Phase Ratio and Winding Resistance Analyzers

Overview

The Megger MWA300 and MWA330A are three-phase transformer test systems that combine turns-ratio (TTR) measurement and winding-resistance testing in one box. By bringing both functions together — with only one set of leads and no reconnection between tests — they are around 55% smaller and 40% lighter than carrying two separate instruments, saving significant time during transformer commissioning and maintenance.

Both analyzers perform three-phase turns-ratio, three-phase winding resistance, on-load tap-changer (OLTC) make-before-break continuity checks, core demagnetisation, magnetic balance and flux distribution, excitation current, polarity and phase-angle deviation with automatic vector detection, and heat-run testing. The MWA300 is controlled from a laptop and offers 8-terminal / 6-winding measurement without reconnection, while the MWA330A adds a built-in 12-inch colour touchscreen computer that stores up to 100,000 data sets for standalone operation.
