Megger Phazer Watt-hour Meter Test System

Overview

The Megger Phazer is a three-phase watt-hour meter test and calibration system used by utilities and meter shops to verify the accuracy of electricity meters. It provides three independent, programmable voltage and current sources with fully adjustable phase angles, creating precise, repeatable load conditions against which meters and reference standards can be compared.

With real and reactive energy measurement to ±0.05% (±0.02% typical) and compliance with ANSI C12.1 performance requirements, the Phazer delivers laboratory-grade accuracy in a rugged, transportable system. Windows-based software controls the test sequences and records results, making it well suited to routine meter testing, calibration and acceptance work.
