Megger TXL870

The Megger TXL870 Extra Load Unit is designed to expand the capabilities of the TORKEL Battery Test Systems, offering higher load currents for demanding battery discharge tests. This unit is essential for conducting thorough constant current or constant power tests, particularly in large-scale battery systems used in critical applications such as data centers, telecommunications, and utility grids.

The TXL series consists of extra load units for the TORKEL battery test systems, designed to provide higher load currents for constant current or constant power tests. Together, TORKEL and these extra loads create a system capable of discharging batteries with currents reaching several kiloamperes (kA). The extra loads connect directly to the battery, while TORKEL measures the total current using a clamp-on ammeter.
