Overview

The Met One General Purpose Weather Station is designed for monitoring ambient meteorological conditions, available in pre-packaged configurations for fast delivery yet flexible enough to be tailored to a site. It measures wind speed and direction, temperature, relative humidity and barometric pressure, with optional rain and solar-radiation sensors.

The station uses the 034B wind sensor and 597A temperature/humidity/pressure sensor, feeding the 580 AutoMet data logger with Ethernet, serial and analog outputs. A quick-deployment tripod with a 10 ft extendable mast and an optional solar power system make it ideal for research, industrial and general environmental monitoring.
