Overview

The Kyoritsu KEWMATE 2001A is a compact, slim-line digital multimeter that integrates an AC/DC clamp current sensor into a standard DMM body. This combination lets an electrician measure voltage, resistance and continuity with the test leads and then clamp around a conductor to read current — all without swapping instruments — making it a convenient all-in-one tool for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting in tight spaces.

It measures AC and DC current up to 100 A through a jaw that accepts conductors up to 10 mm, AC/DC voltage up to 600 V, resistance up to 34 MΩ and frequency, with a continuity buzzer and a 3400-count display with bargraph. Powered by two AAA (R03) batteries for around 45 hours of use and rated to CAT III 300 V, the KEWMATE 2001A weighs only about 220 g and slips easily into a pocket or tool bag.
